Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has confirmed that hamstrung striker Fernando Torres will be sidelined until next year. The 24-year-old had been expected to be out of action for only two weeks but specialists in Spain have advised that the former Atletico Madrid star remains on the sidelines for a month while his training is analysed.

Tonite is an important game, well, all Liverpool games are important to all Liverpool fans. After a frustrating draw against West Ham a week ago, hopefully the Reds can win good tonite. It has been a long time seeing Liverpool sitting at the top of the league, which I feel is not really that secure at the moment. Still a long season to go. But I hope this is the year that Liverpool can win the title after a long 18 year wait. GO REDS...
